Natural Habitat Adventures specializes in providing ecotourism and luxury wildlife experiences to small groups of passionate explorers.
Natural Habitat Adventures utilized their in-house development team to build an Adventure Portal where travelers could prepare for their upcoming trips. During user testing, Nathab found that customers struggled to complete all of their travel forms ahead of their trip dates, putting strain on customer service reps to repeatedly send reminders. Important information was often burried in lengthy documents and navigation was cumbersome. Nathab reached out to Skyward to design an intuitive experience that encourages form completion and automatically alerts customers when deadlines are approaching.
We first took inventory of the navigation and content Nahab had already built into their Adventure Portal prototype, categorizing information by importance and relevance to each stage of pre-trip planning. New user flows were developed to reorganize the content centered around a trip dashboard, which would elevate time sensitive trip information as the trip draws nearer. A tabbed structure allows the traveler to drive into in-depth information. Badges appear on tabs to alert travlers when new content is available.

Front and center above the tabs is an Adventure To-Do List Wizard highlighting all of the required travel forms needing to be filled out. The experience is made more enjoyable by turning form completion into a metaphor for completing legs of a journey. Colorful custom illustrations and confetti animations provide visual rewards upon completion. This provides travelers with a clear list of goals while creating some fun and anticipation for their upcoming trip.

Automated email reminders are sent at strategic stages to remind travelers of any outstanding to-do items. The emails drive back to the traveler's Adventure Portal, where they can easily review all Nathab communications and the status of each travel to-do. One all tasks have green checkmarks, travelers have peace of mind knowing they're ready to embark on their adventure.
